The Home Improvement Partnership will give industry access to data that will help businesses across the supply chain plan for the future and grow their offerings and investments.
Barbour ABI has been publishing an annual home improvement report for several years. The in-depth report examines the industry, highlights national interest in home renovations and identifies the type of projects that are currently trending.
The Home Improvement Partnership will see Barbour ABI produce a monthly or quarterly summary in addition to the annual deep dive. These reports will be made available to all NHIC and FMB members.
Barbour ABI’s Chief Economist, Tom Hall, said: “We are committed to improving everyone’s ability to make strategic decisions in an underserved industry that will be critical to achieving the goals of the future, particularly if we want to meet energy reduction targets. .”
Home Improvement Industry Verified Data
Anna Scothern, CEO of NHIC, said: “Barbour ABI is the leading provider of construction industry intelligence in the UK and provides robust and verified data on the home improvement industry.
“Their team of professionals make thousands of calls with people in the industry each year and use their knowledge and expertise to make assessments on the industry and likely trends that we need to be aware of.
“We are delighted to partner with them on this initiative and hope that our members will benefit from their knowledge. »
Brian Berry, CEO of FMB, said: “Our members, many of whom are small family businesses, would not normally have the resources to commission bespoke reports, so this partnership with Barbour ABI is very exciting and will be extremely beneficial to our members and the construction industry at large.
