‘Chappelle’s Home Team’ debuts on Netflix

Launching on Netflix on February 28, “Chappelle’s Home Team” is a comedy special series produced by Dave Chappelle. The series presents actors chosen and highlighted by the comedian. Directed by Emmy and Grammy award-winning Stan Lathan, the first two “Chappelle’s Home Team” specials will feature comedians from Washington DC. Earthquake and Donnell Rawlings. Rawlings special aired in March.

Earthquake is the first comedian featured in “Chappelle’s Home Team”. In the special, titled Earthquake: Legendary, comedian Earthquake shakes up the stage and produces lines while tackling health issues like wealth, prostate exams and child discipline. The Earthquake comedian currently appears in recurring roles on The Neighborhood for CBS, Johnson for the Bounce Network, and South Side for HBO Max. Earthquake also landed a development deal for a project with the CBS network. Additionally, he is in his fourth season as the host of Quakeshouse, Sirius XM Channel 96’s ultra-popular radio show, produced by Kevin Hart’s LOL Radio Network.

Chapel appears in each special to introduce his fellow comedians, all of whom have been in the comedy game for over 30 years.
