Home Economics: Season Three; 2022-23 Renewal for ABC Family Comedy Series – canceled + renewed TV shows

The Hayworth siblings and their families will return. Domestical economy has been renewed for a third season on ABC. The second season finale will air on Wednesday, May 18.

A family comedy series, the Domestical economy The TV show stars Topher Grace, Caitlin McGee, Jimmy Tatro, Karla Souza, Sasheer Zamata, Shiloh Bearman, Jordyn Curet, Chloe Jo Rountree, and JeCobi Swain. The show takes a look at the heartwarming but super uncomfortable and sometimes frustrating relationship between three adult siblings in the Hayworth family. Connor (Tatro) is the youngest and most successful brother in the family. He runs his own private equity firm and his marriage has fallen apart. He has a daughter named Gretchen (Bearman). Tom (Grace) is the middle brother and is a struggling middle class author. He is married to Marina (Souza), a former lawyer, and they have three children. Sarah (McGee) is the older sister and an out-of-work children’s therapist who can barely make ends meet. She is married to Denise (Zamata), a teacher, and they have two children and live in a cramped Bay Area loft..

The second season of Domestical economy averages a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.92 million viewers in Live Ratings + Same Day. Compared to the first season, this represents a 29% drop in the demo and a 25% drop in viewership in the Live+ same day ratings (including DVR playback until 3:00 a.m.). He is a lower-end performer compared to ABC’s other scripted shows. In the Live + 7 Days ratings (which include delayed viewing), the series averages a demo of 0.50 and 2.89 million viewers.

A launch date for Season 3 will be announced this summer. Today, ABC also renewed America’s Funniest Home Videos (season 33), american idol (season 21), The single person (season 27), big sky (season 3), celebrity wheel of fortune (season 3), The Conners (Season Five), A million little things (Season Five), shark tank (season 14), and The good years (season two).
