Ahead of the presentation of ABC’s comedy slate to members of the Television Critics Association today, the network released a humorous clip featuring the heartfelt yet hilarious Domestical economy. Oh, and the Ashton Kutcher joke from the teaser clip? Slim. These children really deserve this 10% increase!
In the track, which we’re sharing exclusively with you here, star and executive producer Topher Grace tries to explain to co-stars Shiloh Bearman (Gretchen), Jordyn Curet (Shamiah), Jecobi Swain (Kelvin) and Chloe Jo Rountree (Camila ) what the whole press conference thing is. Before he can say “Give me one of those licorice whips,” the actor gets grilled almost as badly as some TCA panels, while we’re reminded that this series has been one of the most surprising joys from last season and that it must return to our screens. Especially now that we know the Hayworth siblings – Tom de Grace, Caitlin McGee as woke sister Sarah, and Jimmy Tatro as their wealthy little brother Conner – start season 2 with Sarah’s wife, Denise (Sasheer Zamata ) and Tom’s wife Marina (Karla Souza) in a can’t-miss 49ers game.
